St. Peter's Fish and Chicken Wings

by: Mary Ann Bolanos On 22 February is the Feast of St. Peter. In honor of the Saint, I thought of the family recipe of the great great grand nephew of Dr. Jose Rizal - Jerome Bautista. The favorite of their family. Jerome, I  and Queenie were talking about recipes and food. Her elder sister who is in the the United States bakes perfect different colored macaroons. He shared some of his favorite home cooked recipes which his Mom and "Ate" (elder sister) love to cook. Here is the recipe which I hope you will enjoy cooking when staying at the furnished apartment in Novaliches: Tilapia (St. Peter's Fish) Ingredients: Fish Tilapia Sliced Ginger Soy Sauce Green Onions Vegetable oil (heated not boiling) My diet version: I use cold pressed coconut oil or  virgin coconut oil.  Procedure: 1. Clean whole Tilapia very well. 2. Rub with sliced ginger and leave on top. 3. Place in a microwave-safe dish. 4. Cook in microwave oven 5-6 mins depending on size. 5. Remove ginger slices. 6.

What to Wear During Summer Time for Men

by: Ronan Vergara If you are planning to spend your summer time in the Philippines, keep in mind that the weather here during the summer is hot and you should know what to wear to fight off the heat. On normal days when you plan to take walks along the beach or parks, you could wear simple casual clothes. You can wear t-shirts with short sleeves and short pants to keep yourself cool. Wear sunscreen on the parts of your body exposed to the sun. Wearing slippers is also acceptable if you will just be walking around the streets. If you're planning to go inside malls and museums, you could wear the same t-shirt but you should wear longer pants and wear rubber shoes instead of slippers. This is because there are malls where the guard won't let you in if you are wearing slippers and short pants.
