Simbang Gabi Mass Schedule at the Parokya ng Pagkabuhay Parish

If you will be staying at the furnished apartment in Novaliches Quezon City, 
there are several Parish Churches nearby, where you can
complete the 9 days novena Mass or "Simbang Gabi"
in preparation for Christmas:

Parokya ng Pagkabuhay Parish

Evening Mass typically starts at 8:00 p.m. of
the 15th of December, which is the anticipated
Mass of the 16th of December.

The real early dawn Mass for the 16th of December
starts 4:00 a.m.

Tip: It is best to be at Church at 3:15 a.m. to
assure yourself of a sit in the pew.

Parokya ng Pagkabuhay Parish (Resurrection Parish) in Novaliches The Resurrection Parish is a church built by the Franciscan Friars. It was a wooden Church before, later on it was re-constructed. It is still a small Church in a small village. I would call it a clandestine Church, because its near two villages. It can accommodate around 100 guests. Here you can have your children baptized too.   St. Bartholomew Church in Novaliches St. Bartholomew Church or locally called "San Bartolome Parish" This church is big and it can hold 5oo guests. All Saints and All Souls Day Coming Up in Novaliches, Quezon City

by Charles Bolanos All Saints and All Souls Day is a special day in the Philippines. This is the day when we remember the Saints and our beloved departed relatives and friends. Officially we do not have classes on 1 November and 2 November because that is when we are busiest. The government of the  past years typically cancels work on the 30th of October till 3 November. The reason for this is because of the people going to their respective provinces or homes where we gather and celebrate as early as 31st of October. Some even went to a point of sleeping overnight from 31st of October till 2 November. 1 November is actually a feast day as we commemorate those who have lived saintly lives. 2 November is not, but we offer Holy Masses till 30th of November for the souls of our departed relatives and friends. We believe that we gain Plenary Indulgences for them so they have a short stay in Purgatory, since we know that not all of our friends and relatives are saints.....
