There are three dependable private tertiary hospitals in Novaliches Quezon City that are near the long term rentals in Novaliches: 








1. Bernardino Hospital, this is the nearest.
Along Quirino Highway in - front of Polytechnic University.
It is a hospital that is near a bank, a Pizza resto, fresh food market.
This hospital is always full, but during emergency cases,
so far you are immediately attended too. This is just 5 minutes
away the temporary housing furnished in Novaliches.

2. Novaliches General Hospital is the first hospital in Novaliches.
It has the most affordable hospital rooms. The big rooms are okay.
The doctors also holds offices in top tertiary hospitals like UST and
FEU. NovaGen is also near SM Mall Novaliches, in front of Chanel 5.
This is 5 to 10 minutes jeepney ride away from the
long term or short term stay in Novaliches. 3 to 5 minutes car ride if
there are no traffic, or if you strategically plan to get to the place

3. Far Eastern University Nicanor Reyes University Center
is a hospital that is 20 minutes drive away taking Sauyo Road.
The doctors here are also reliable.  Inorder to get here in 20
minutes time from the furnished residential
unit in Novaliches, it is best to have a private car to take
the short cut.

4. Pacific Global Medical Center is along Mindanao Avenue #793 Quirino
 Highway. Easily accessible by jeep. 5 to 10 minutes ride from the 
short term stay or long term stay in Novaliches Quezon City Philippines.

I was suppose to write about this place in another blog, but since it is
near Pacific Global Medical Center. A mere walking distance,
I decided to add this short article about this place.


Being a mom, it is important to always look beautiful and pretty.

Beating the Heat

by: Charlene Bolanos Summer is still careening towards its peak. Enjoy while it lasts... Upcoming last week of May will be rainy season... So I usually keep a happy disposition. 1. Make sure you always bring bottled water with you. Be careful of water intoxication, not too much just ...right. 2. Wash your face often if necessary just to cool off. 3. Take a dip or take shower more than once. 4. Always bring freshening up kit:     Baby powder and light cologne that is     not offensive. 5. Bring extra shirt all the time. 6. Wear sun shades and bring an umbrella 7. Wear 100% cotton clothes. 8. Wear shoes or flip flops which will allow air to circulate. 9. Take water from time to time to avoid passing out. Ice Coffee for Summer

by: Mary Ann Bolanos Drinking ice coffee during summer is refreshing. Here is a quick ice coffee recipe: Ice Coffee with Toblerone Chocolote Shreds Ingredients: Instant Coffee. (your favorite brand, you may opt for a brewed coffee). 5 packs for five people. Creamers (preferred is coconut milk or vegetable base creamer) Honey (brown sugar or white sugar is okay. I prefer honey) Crushed Ice Procedure:  1. Dilute instant coffee in 3 c of hot water. Set aside. 2. Once the coffee is a bit cooler, mix with crushed ice. Add honey  to desired sweetness. 3. Serve in tall glass. For Left Over Brewed Coffee 1. Dilute creamer in 1 C of hot water. Set aside. 2. Add brewed coffee to crushed ice. 3. Add diluted creamer. 4. Add honey to taste. 5.
