by: Mrs. Aileen Soriano

North Luzon is a beautiful place, not much people visit this island, except the Balikbayans who actually know how homey and relaxing the place is.

1. Pangasinan is two hours drive away from the furnished apartment in Novaliches if you plan to make a stop over at the vegetable basket of the Philippines, Villasis Pangasinan. Take advantage of eating at the market resto all around, taste their tasty tupig and the famous Halo – Halo.

2. Another one hour drive will take you to Binmaley Beach, known as the cleanest beach in North Luzon because of its eco-habitat. Unfortunately, you have to reserve one year ahead before you get a slot during peak time from February, March, April and May.

3. Experience the 100 islands hopping in Alaminos Pangasinan, another  1 ½ drive away from Binmaley. See the ranging rainbow colors at sea while you eat along white sand beach.

4. Then if you want to really reach far, and do cave hopping and a picnic along water falls and the light house, you will reach Bolinao the farthest of North Luzon, experience the fresh water mixing with salt sea, and take a walk along the beach line. This is 2 hours drive away from Alaminos, Pangasinan.
