Spending Vacation in the Philippines Anytime of the Year

Summer gives families the opportunity to bond together while the young people don’t have classes. It also gives families the time to visit relatives who live in the provinces. Sometimes the relatives from abroad will come visit Manila for a family reunion, and finally relatives from abroad also find this as the perfect time to come back home.
But a better way to celebrate the summer with the family is by going on a vacation together. Our family and our cousins all around the Philippines together before and it was a great bonding moment! Even though it was May and it is the summer season We rented a furnished apartment where we stayed for the three days we had our vacation there. The short term rent wasn’t costly and vacation rentals are usually cheaper by the month, especially if you pay in full and if you reserve early.
There was also a time when our relatives who live in Hawaii came to visit us for a long term vacation. Since it was also during the summer season, they rented air-conditioned furnished apartments in Novaliches Quezon City for their temporary housing in the Philippines. While they were here, we would spend our weekends going to the provinces. We had lots of fun and we bonded more because in each of these trips we would again rent apartments where we will stay for the duration of our trip.
If you and your family plan to go out on a vacation this summer, be sure to bring stuff that would be ideal for the hot weather. Pack light clothes and wear brightly-colored shirts because these clothes do not warm up a lot. Be sure to bring your own bottle of water just in case there would be no good sources of water where you will be going.
In choosing for a place to stay in, it is best if you could stay at a relative’s place to keep costs at a minimum. But if that is not an option, be sure to choose a fully-furnished apartment with enough rooms and beds to accommodate your whole house. It would also be wise to choose an apartment with good ventilation especially if you’re planning to go on a vacation during the summer, or at least ones with air-conditioned rooms.
Invite your relatives from the provinces or abroad for a family bonding week or weekend and go on a vacation in the Philippines! It will be a great experience and your family will be closer than ever. So what are you waiting for? Make this summer a summer to remember for you and your family.
